Wingspan: When did you start playing soccer?

Khosla: “I started playing soccer when I was eight years old.”

Wingspan: What is your favorite part about playing soccer?

Khosla: My favorite part about playing soccer is the excitement the entire team shares when we either score or win a really hard game.

Wingspan: How has playing affect your life?

Khosla: “Playing soccer has introduced a lot of new people in my life, some which have become very close friends of mine. It’s also given me an outlet to have fun and release some tension that I may be experiencing.”

Wingspan: What is the hardest part about playing soccer?

Khosla: “I think the hardest part about playing soccer is playing with people that you’ve never really played with before. If you don’t have that sense of trust with your team, it’s really hard to work with them on the fast paced field.”

Wingspan: What position do you play and why do you like it?

Khosla: “I usually play left winger. I really like it because it gives me the opportunity to take people one on one and dribble down the field.”

Wingspan: What pushes you to do your best?

Khosla: “The fact that other people are dependent on me to keep the ball really pushes me to work my hardest.”

Wingspan: Do you have a pregame ritual?

Khosla: “I usually just listen to music before the game. it’s not really a ritual but it helps me get my mind set for the game.”

Wingspan: Do you have any superstitions?

Khosla: “If we get to the field before the other team when it’s a home game usually I take that as a good sign that we’ll win.”
