The boys’ and girls’ soccer team were unable to cage the Wakeland Wolverines Tuesday night as both teams fell short.

Kicking off across Frisco, the girls’ team fell short 3-0 leaving their record 2-4-1 in District 9-5A.

“They were a good team,” senior Emily Claduine said. ‘Our goal was to score first and that didn’t happen but sometimes you just have to keep pushing, and that’s what we did. We didn’t give up.”

The boys’ team also lost 3-0 to the undefeated Wolverines, moving their District 9-5A record to 3-2-2.

“We really need to work on talking and making sure everyone knows what’s going when the other team is in possession,” junior Tanner Lindley said. ‘What we did well would probably be our positioning. We were a little out of position to start the game but our center mids and backs figured out they’re positioning on a counter attack or when we had the ball very quickly.
