Redhawk soccer begins to close out their season with only two games left until the finish line. For several athletes, including senior Jack Bryan, this could be one of their final times taking the field as a team.

Taking on the undefeated Reedy Lions Friday night at The Nest, the girls’ soccer sits 7th place in District 9-5A with a record of 2-4-1.

‘In order to win tonight we have to make sure we are staying connected and working as a team and not individuals,” senior Anna Clerkin said. “We also have to make sure we are communicating and taking our chances on goal.”

Meanwhile, the boys’ team heads over to The Den at 7:30 to take on the second place Lions, with the Redhawks sitting in 5th place with a 3-2-2 record, just one point out of the fourth and final playoff spot. “We are always expecting a win, especially tonight against Reedy,” senior Luke Berry said.
“This is a game we need to win to secure our playoff spot.”
