Hoping to see their first win of the season, the softball team looks to strike out Reedy High School at the Nest at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The team is yet to win a game so far this season with a District 9-5A record of 0-7, however, for sophomore Piper Dickson, it is more about the experience playing alongside her friends.

“Softball to me is just about having fun with my team,” Dickson said. “Tonight I hope my team and I will see improvement after the tough start to the season.”

Head coach Jill Bradshaw hopes her team is able to apply what they have been working on to pull out a win for the Redhawks.

“For the game tonight we want to just do the exact same things we did in practice,” Bradshaw said. “We simply need to improve on the things we have been talking about.”
