Wrapping up the weekend with a 10-4 District 9-5A loss to Lone Star High School on Friday, the girls’ softball team is back to work as it looks to continue improving.

“I think we have improved a lot since the game,” sophomore Piper Dickson said. “We still have a lot to work on but we have gotten a lot better since previous games.”

To put their plan into place, the Redhawks have to put their best foot forward in hopes of improving before their next game, a match-up against the Memorial Warriors on Tuesday.

“To fix any mistakes from the last game, we are just practicing specific things we have been messing up on like not letting points go so easily instead of just running the same drills,” Dickson said. “We have also been conditioning a lot more.”
