Happy Thursday everyone! This will be my last column I get to share for this year because tomorrow is the last day of school!

Wow! What an incredible journey this year has been. It flew by so incredibly fast! I’m so thankful for you guys and for Wingspan for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts and opinions with you on Rhea of Sunshine.

So for one last hurrah, this week I want to talk about boundaries. The reason for this is, most of us this summer are going to go wild and have crazy amounts of fun because we’ve been stuck in this hole called COVID. But now that most of us are vaccinated, we’re going to take advantage of all the things we can do.

However, in doing so, we must be level headed and safe, and we need to remember that it’s ok to say no!

Don’t want to hang out with a friend? It’s ok to say no!

Don’t want to go to a certain party? It’s okay to say no!

Our self respect is worth far more than giving into someone or something that might make us feel uncomfortable. So as many crazy adventures we‘re going to experience this summer, remember to keep your boundaries and know your limit!

With that being said, have a fun and amazing summer Redhawks!
