The Memorial Warriors made a mark on the Redhawks in a District 9-5A volleyball match on Tuesday with the Warriors walking away with a 3-1 win.

The score board might not have reflected a win for the Redhawks, but the team considers every game a learning experience.

“We have been working really hard in practice and using past results to improve from the last couple of games,” McCurdy said.

The team plans on taking this loss as a learning curve for upcoming competitions.

“In our pre-season we played multiple games and took part in a bunch of tournaments to kind of get a feel for how the team works together,” McCurdy said. “I think it’s still going to be a good season. We have great chemistry and a hardworking team and I’m excited to see how the year plays out.”
