The Redhawk volleyball team improved to 1-2 in District 9-5A after a 3-1 win over Frisco High School on Friday after two consecutive losses to start district play.

“We really want to have a good year,” senior Tanner Hansen said. “And since it’s our first season back after the COVID-19 shutdown, everyone, especially seniors, have been working really hard in practice to put our best foot forward in upcoming games.”

The team will try to do just that on Tuesday as it hosts Independence High School at The Nest.

“When we work together we are really strong and we have really seen that show this season so far, especially in all of our pre-season games,” Hansen said. “I really want to see that come through in our next few games.”
