Every month the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees holds a meeting to discuss the business of the school district, but Monday’s meeting may be a bit different than others.

The open session of this month’s meeting is scheduled for Monday at 6:30 PM at the administration building.

As usual, there are numerous items on the agenda including talk of middle school #18 and the district’s proposed plan for an onsite employee health clinic.

However, there also are reports that there may be protestors, people both in support of and in opposition to a mask mandate, outside the meeting despite there being nothing on the agenda regarding masks.

Also expected at Monday’s meeting is a presentation of an online petition signed by more than 4000 Frisco ISD students asking the district to impose stricter COVID-19 regulations within the district.
