The Redhawks caged the Wakeland Wolverines 3-1 (25-27, 25-22, 25-19, 25-19) on Friday in a District 9-5A volleyball game. This is the second win of the season for the team in District 9-5A play, which senior Paeton Davis believes is a reflection of the team’s hard work.

“We have been performing really well so far,” Davis said. “At the beginning of the season, all of the new athletes gelled pretty well together which I think has helped us grow this year.”

After coming off of an injury, Davis is looking forward to getting back into the swing of things as she plays alongside her teammates for one final year before heading off to college.

“With several of our athletes returning from injuries suffered last season, the team is still working really hard and playing strong,” head coach Clark Oberle said.
