Wingspan: If you could describe yourself with a catchphrase, what would it be and why?

Jaeger: “I would say creative because I always like coming up with different things. Like, especially in art class.”

Wingspan: Who is your biggest hero or influence?

Jaeger: “I would say my biggest influence would probably be my dad because he takes care of me and my sister a lot, and drives us to school and does a lot of paperwork.”

Wingspan: What do you want to do in the future? Also, is your path related to art?

Jaeger: “Yes, my path is related to art. I want to get a BFA in art education when I grow up, to be an art teacher.”

Wingspan: Do you know what college you are aiming for?

Jaeger: “I don’t know what college specifically, but my three top would be UNT, UT Arlington, and UT Tyler.”

Wingspan: Do you have a certain art style?

Jaeger: “I do. But because I was online for the whole last year, I’ve kind of lost my style. I’m trying to regain it back this year.”

Wingspan: If you could describe your art style, how would you?

Jaeger: “I draw more realistic people. I’ve done anime style, but I want to try to focus on a more realistic approach in painting.”

Wingspan: What motivates you to work hard?

Jaeger: “Probably deadlines and like the people around me. I just see them working hard, so I try to push myself forward, too.”

Wingspan: How does that have an influence on you? The people around you.

Jaeger: “Basically their behaviors, the way they act. Some days are really good days and that also affects me.”

Wingspan: What is your proudest accomplishment? Is it related to fine arts?

Jaeger: “Yes! So this year actually, I auditioned and I got into drill team. That was probably one of my proudest moments.”

Wingspan: Is there a message you want to send through your art? How do you want that to impact society?

Jaeger: “Through my art, I’ve always wanted different people to see different things in my art. I didn’t want just one message. I wanted it to be a specific message for each person, so when they look at it, they think ‘oh that was made for me’.”

Wingspan: Finally, can you describe a situation where a person or place influenced one of your pieces?

Jaeger: “I would definitely say my art teachers have influenced my pieces by giving me critiques.”
