The Redhawks snapped back into action on Tuesday taking their game against Reedy High School 3-2 (25-12, 15-25, 17-25, 25-18, 15-11).

After seeing the effects of a long set in the previous game (37-35), head coach Clark Oberle feels the team stepped up.

“We have done really well sticking with it this year,” Oberle said. “We’ve been able to focus on keeping our momentum going and stopping the other team’s which helps stop us from seeing a large difference in scores with long runs.”

The Redhawks set a goal going in and exceeded their expectations.

“We definitely improved this time and got back to the level we want to be at,” junior Campbell Peters said. “If we keep at it in practice I think we can have a good second half of the season.”
