Palmistry

Palmistry, or palm reading is the practice of looking at the physical characteristics of one’s hand to analyze their character and predict their future. In order to learn the art of palm reading, start with the basics, and work your way to the more complicated, smaller lines.

The most broad concept is the hand shapes that correspond with the four elements.

Earth hands are identified by square, fleshy palms, and short fingers. People with this hand shape are usually logical, however, they may focus too much on short-term goals and forget about long-term ones.

Fire hands are identified by long palms and short fingers. People with this hand shape are usually passionate, however, they are driven by their desires and sometimes don’t consider others’ feelings.

Air hands are identified by square palms and long fingers. People with this hand shape are really smart, however, they get easily distracted.

Water hands are identified by long palms and long fingers. People with this hand shape are in tune with their emotions, however, their feelings are easily hurt.

Once you learn about someone’s character using their hand shape, you can move into the more complex lines and crevices on their hand. For example, the life line is the line that stretches around the thumb. If the line is long, clear, and stretches closer to the bottom of the palm, the person’s health and physical vitality are said to be stronger. However, if the line is faded and short, the person may not have good health. This is just a small part of the knowledge you can gain about a person based on their palm. The possibilities are endless.
