The Redhawk volleyball team closed out their regular season on Tuesday with a 3-1 District 9-5A loss to Lone Star High School, bringing their season to an end.

“This season we just wanted to go out there, play, and give it our all,” junior Campbell Peters said. “When COVID shut everything down, the biggest part of the game we missed was just being with the team. I feel like we really got to take advantage of that this time around.”

With this past game being the final time seniors took the court, head coach Clark Oberle is proud of the way his team played.

“I’m proud of the way the team has played this season,” Oberle said. “There is so much pressure on all of the athletes each time they take the court and that is something I think the girls have done a great job with.”
