After seeing split results for both girls’ and boys’ basketball, the teams are more ready than ever to prove what they can do. Both teams look to take on the Trail Blazers on Tuesday.

Following a win against Prosper on Saturday, the boys’ basketball team is back on the court Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. when they travel to Little Elm

“I think it’s just narrowing our focus, just making sure that we only can control what we can control and just focusing on the task at hand,” head coach Stephen Friar said. “We tell everybody one of our motos, just making sure that after the game is over we flush it, win or lose we let it go, let it be in the past and just focus on the task at hand. So just making sure we respect the person that we play next, and do our best to have a positive outcome.”

To get a second straight win will require focus according to junior Kaden Groom.

“We’re going to keep working hard, keep competing everyday in practice. We make each other better, and if we go really hard in practice the games kind of come easy to us,” Groom said. “[It’s] going to be a tough one because we’re on the road, so we have to stay focused and be ready to play.”
