A sweet dessert that is crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside is what The Cookie Society is all about, with new cookie flavors every month.

For the month of October they had Chocolate Chip, Salted Caramel, Frosted Oatmeal, Banana Pudding, Cookies & Cream, Twix, Sugar, Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip, and of course Pumpkin Spice.

The Cookies & Cream cookie tastes exactly like the ice cream of the same name. The cookie is topped with sweet, and crunchy crushed Oreos. It is a little chewy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The cookie was not too sweet, and not bland. Right when you bite into an Oreo it tastes super sweet, and artificial, but when you bite into the Cookies and Cream cookie it tastes great. The cookie is kinda like an Oreo, but with a major twist. You could catch all the flavors, the vanilla, and the cookie flavor.

A second cookie, the Frosted Oatmeal. A cookie that was made out of plain oatmeal with the vanilla glaze on top. Though the cookie was just plain oatmeal, the vanilla glaze made it pop. Right when you put it in your mouth you get a little crunch from the oatmeal pieces, and then the sweetness melts from the glaze. It was not too overpowering how some glazes can be, it was light, but delicious. Usually when you think of oatmeal, you think of mushy bland oatmeal, but this Oatmeal cookie had the finest sweetness, and texture. Especially paired with the outstanding vanilla glaze.

The final cookie sampled was the Banana Pudding which had a taste of sweet and creamy banana pudding, with crushed up vanilla wafers. It had the chewiness on the outside, but it was a little too soft. It was not raw, but it tasted as if the banana pudding was in the middle. The vanilla wafers added the perfect crunch in some parts of the cookie, and the big vanilla wafer on the top added a little extra charm.

The Cookie Society had a really good atmosphere that felt welcoming when you walked in. Even though it’s small, it has its charm. If you really like to try new things, and especially a variety of different cookie flavors you should definitely check this place out.
