The Redhawks boys’ basketball team is taking on the Wolverines Friday when they travel to Wakeland High School for a District 9-5A game at 8:00 p.m.

“We have to lock in in practice and do a good job tomorrow,” head coach Stephen Friar said. “Also just respecting our opponent and just making sure we are walking humbly into every game we play.”

Starting district play with a win over Lebanon Trail on Tuesday, senior Budda Daniels believes teamwork will be a key to get another win.

“We’re going to have to play together as a team,” Daniels said. “Because [against Lebanon Trail] we were playing for ourselves, so we’ve got to play for each other.”
