The Redhawks boys’ basketball returns to The Nest Friday at 8:00 p.m. when they face the Frisco Racoons in a District 9-5A matchup.

“It’s less about Frisco and more about ourselves,” head coach Stephen Friar said. “Just making sure we are keeping our same ability that we’ve had in the past, keep our same hunger and desire to compete. And then focus on what we can control, and just do our best job in that moment and we’ll be ok.”

After their first district loss against Independence on Tuesday, the Redhawks are hoping to recover and pull out a win against the Raccoons. 

“We need to improve on defense and moving the ball more,” junior Jon-Jon Dupree said. “Not just going one on one with each other, but with the other team.”
