The Redhawks dominated on Tuesday when they beat the Lone Star Rangers 74-52 in a District 9-5A boys’ basketball matchup.

“They played really well,” assistant coach Bruce Wright said. “It was a nice comeback from break, like they had the Dallas tournament the week before and to have a district game that closes after Christmas break where they have to be at school all day for the first time in a long time and then play a game that night.”

Tuesday’s win brings the team’s record to 5-1 in District 9-5A.

“We played good, we moved the ball a lot and focused,” Booda Daniels said. “We took a lot of good shots, which caused us to score more points.”
