Red Rhythm set to show off
January 26, 2022
The Red Rhythm drill team will have a show off to perform various routines they have been practicing all competition season. It’s all part of the Frisco ISD Drill Team Show Offs on Wednesday at Reedy High School that will allow all the district’s dance teams to show off their routines.
“So the FISD Dance Competition Show Offs is basically where all of the Frisco districts on drill teams come together,” Red Rhythm captain, senior Kelsey Madden said. “We’re going to be all just basically showing off one of our routines that we are going to be doing before we actually compete them and it’s just a way for all the districts to come together and just show off all of our hard work and stuff we’ve been preparing for for the week of competition.”
According to Red Rhythm Director Nicole Nothe, the team is ready for what is ahead.
“So we’ve seen our dancers come a long way in our district show offs and we’ve been working on our contest team,” Nothe said. “It has definitely formed into a routine that is going to be exciting for the audience. I think they are definitely prepared and have done a lot of hard work so we’re super proud of them.”
Wednesday’s showcase is at two locations with half the schools performing at Heritage High School and the other half, including Red Rhythm, performing at Reedy from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and is free for all audience members.
