Letter to the Universe

A good way to ask the universe, or your spirit guides for advice or confirmation about something in your life, is to write a letter to the universe. It is very simple, all you need is paper, a writing utensil, and a lighter. In the body of the letter, ask for a sign that you will see in your daily life.

For example, if you are conflicted about whether or not to drop a hard class, write “show me a black cat if I should drop the class, and show me roses if I should stay in the class.” Then, once you have forgotten about the letter, (about one to two weeks later) you will see either roses or a cat and that will answer your question.

After you are done writing the letter, I recommend you somehow give the letter to the elements. This is a great way to affirm your intention into your words. The most straightforward way to do this is to light your letter on fire and let it burn to ash. Another way is to drop the letter into a body of water, which can be an ocean, or simply a bathtub. The final way is to bury your letter, I recommend near a plant, to help it with growth.

Every time I have asked the universe for the answer to a question, I have gotten back results. This method definitely works. Another thing to remember is, if you see your sign in your everyday life, and ask yourself, “is this a sign?” it probably is.
