Spiritual Pendulums

Pendulums are often used to ask questions to the universe and as tools for spiritual healing. Spiritual pendulums usually consist of a pointed crystal hanging from a metal or cloth string.

Just like any crystal, a pendulum needs to cleansed of negative energy. This can be done by running the crystal under cold water with the intention of clearing its vibrational energy. Leaving the crystal fully buried in sea salt or passing it through incense are also good ways to cleanse the pendulum.

Now the pendulum will be able to communicate the universes’ answers with you. The easiest way to allow this process is buying a pendulum board. Hold the crystal in the middle of the board, ask a yes or no question, and move the pendulum slightly. Finally, follow the board to know your answer.

Asking a pendulum can also be done without a board as well, however, it is more challenging to read. A good rule of thumb is if the pendulum swings vertically, the answer is no. If it swings horizontally, the answer is yes, and finally if it swings in a circular motion, the answer is neutral.
