The girls’ and boys’ track teams are suiting up Friday and Saturday hoping to soar to some medals as they compete in two different events.

Some athletes on the track team are competing in the annual Texas Relays event taking place Friday and Saturday in Austin.

“I’m sure it will be a good experience,” senior Cam Wooley said. “Good competition, always excited about that. I just hope we place and get a medal.”

For other athletes on the team, they will be competing in the Jesuit-Sheaner Relays on Saturday.

“Really just looking forward to getting out there and competing,” junior Cam Gibbs said. “I trust in my ability and the work that I have put in so there’s no doubt in my mind right now.”
