Coming off their first District 9-5A win, the Redhawk softball team is looking to build a win streak against Centennial Friday.

“Goals for the game are to get solid hits and continue the win streak that we started last game,” head coach Jill Bradshaw said. “I think we’re prepared to take them on. Yeah I feel like we’re prepared, we have been practicing and working on our bats so it should be a good game.”

Even though winning is always a goal for the team, senior Maegan Shannon’s other goal is to have fun.

“I just wanna have fun with my friends and maybe get some wins while we’re at it,” Shannon said. “I think Centennial  has a lot of big hitters, and so we have to have a strong defense and strong pitching. But, our hitting is going really well right now and we’re going to be really strong.
