Today is probably the first day that my brain has actually processed the fact that the school year is coming to a close. 

It isn’t that serious, especially since I have yet to reach the zenith of my high school career, but dang, I finished my first real year of high school. 

Last year (the year unworthy of a name) was filled with identity crises, illness and isolation, while this year has been full of laughs and actually experiencing events, classes, etc in a more traditional way.

I’m a little sentimental—after my dance showcase tonight, I’ll have performed to the best of my ability until the very end, and that’s, for lack of a better adjective, wack.
