It is a battle of the hawks Tuesday as the Redhawk volleyball team heads to Rockwall Heath to face the Hawks at 6:30 p.m.

“We are working on our defensive positioning to prepare for Rockwall Heath,” head volleyball coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “Now that we have some wins under our belt from the tournament over the weekend, they are ready for more this week.”

After placing second in the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Tournament over the weekend, the Redhawks have set goals for Tuesday’s match.

“We are expecting a good outcome, we have been working really hard in practice and we’ve been working on what we needed to do after the tournament,” junior Mary Jane McCurdy said. “I think we will hopefully come out with a win.”

Junior Kate Ashmore believes cohesiveness as a team will be key to getting another win.

“For tonight’s game, I expect us to play as a team and work together,” Ashmore said. “We are working on block coverage against Rockwall Heath.”
