Have you ever heard the term “rainbows only appear after it has rained?” Due to the cloudy and rainy weather lately, this quote has appeared in my head.

We all have bad days, bad weeks, or even bad months sometimes. However, I’m extremely faithful and believe that everything happens for a reason. Even though some people don’t believe in a certain God, everyone that I know, or have met in my lifetime, at least believes in some higher power.

If something doesn’t happen the way you want, or you don’t get something you really want, I believe it’s for the best. Maybe it would have hurt you more than helped you. Some higher power is looking out for you. So whenever something doesn’t work out for me, I think that I’m being protected from something, even if I can’t see it at that moment.

When it’s raining, (when something unfortunate is occurring to you) just remember that there is a rainbow soon to come. We are young. Don’t sweat the small stuff. We all have a lifetime ahead of us to worry about getting a job, bills to pay, marriage, kids etc. The things we tend to freak out about right now, aren’t going to matter one bit, three years from now.

For a rainbow to occur, we have to accept that it’s raining. Once we accept that and learn to be okay with it, that’s when there are good things in store for us.
