The Redhawks tennis team seeks improvement on Tuesday when they head to Emerson High School to face the Mavericks at 4:00 p.m.

“The team is focusing on consistency,” head coach Erica Dopson said. “We are expecting great results and a competitive match.”

After a loss last week to Independence last week, senior Vinh-hy Ton feels more prepared going into Tuesday’s match.

“We’re definitely going to try looking forward to at least trying to get more into the game because I think we struggled to have a good strong start last week,” Ton said. “So I think if we find a way to step into the court, have a better mentality and start really strong.”
