The Redhawk football team is back at David Kuykendall Stadium on Friday at 7:00 p.m. to face the Heritage Coyotes in a District 6-5A Division I matchup.

“We have just been getting back to the basics, and trying to stack a good day on top of another good day just working hard and doing the little things,” assistant coach Jake Vella said. “I expect for tonight the kids to go out there and play hard with relentless effort and I think it is going to be a good night.

The team is facing the Coyotes for their annual Homecoming game, so for the players there is a bit more on the line.

“We hope to win the game and build from there,” junior Jossiah Lewis said. “The homecoming game adds pressure because everyone comes to the games and we are hopefully going to win at the end of it.”
