The Redhawks headed to Emerson High School on Tuesday where they beat the Mavericks 3-1, bringing their record to 7-0 in District 10-5A.

“The game against Emerson was good because we came out with a win, but it wasn’t our best showing,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “We are working on being disciplined defensively and buying into our team systems.”

Despite the win, the team believes they still have room for improvement.

“The game against Emerson was really good and we played really well,” junior Kate Ashmore said. “We’re working on staying disciplined in defense to improve our performance for Friday and other future games.”
