Volleyball secures Area Championship
On Tuesday, Redhawk volleyball coaches, Eighmy Dobbins, Taylor Ruesch, Callie Pearson, and Heather Whitcomb were awarded the 2022 District 10-5A Coaching Staff Of The Year. This award was earned through a season of dedication and commitment from the players and the coaches.

Volleyball won the Area Championship on Friday beating Hillcrest 3-0, and advancing to the third round of the playoffs.
“The game on Friday was really good for us. We ran a lot of different lineups and were still able to execute beautifully,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “I was satisfied with the results, all playoff wins are worth celebrating.”
With the win on Friday, the team is looking towards their next playoff game against Wakeland.
“The game was a good way for us to get momentum heading into this week,” junior Mary Jane McCurdy said. “We have got to work on some things that we want to do against Wakeland and just perfect little issues.”
