After mixed results in the Big Cat tournament over the weekend, the Redhawks softball team jumps back into district play Tuesday. The girls will take on the Coyotes away, at Heritage.

After a close loss on Tuesday to start District 10-5A play, the softball team heads into the Mesquite ISD tournament Thursday and Friday.

“Going into the tournament, we’re going to look at some different options, move some people around a little, as it is our last chance to practice as district season is here,” head coach Baylea Higgs said.

The players seem confident that these changes will allow them to find success during the next few games.

“I am excited about the tournament and feel that we could have a decent outcome,” sophomore Delila Bond said.
