Volleyball swept the Coyotes on Tuesday, staying undefeated in District 6-5A play. “Glad varsity had another 3-0 sweep in district,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said.
Redhawk volleyball added another District 6-5A win under their belt, as they beat Heritage on Tuesday, moving them to 2-0 in district play.
“Glad varsity had another 3-0 sweep in district,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “We did a good job starting with lots of energy and coming out focused.”
The win fueled the team’s confidence, a necessity as they head into Friday’s match against Memorial.
“I feel like the win was really good for us because it just gives us more confidence going into the big game against Memorial,” junior Sophia Hung said. “We played a clean game against Heritage.”
Even with a win, the team is trying to take lessons from every game.
“We learned that we are a good team and that we have a lot of talent,” Hung said. “We just need to continue to stay focused.”
