Sitting in first place in District 10-5A play, the Redhawks volleyball team hopes to maintain their position as they take the short drive down Rolater Rd. to face Centennial Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
“I hope for us to compete hard and play consistently all the way through the match,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “Our biggest challenge will be making in-game adjustments successfully.”
But the district race is close, with a four-way tie for second, and plenty of games left to play.
“Underestimating the team, if that makes sense, can cause us problems,” junior Andrea Juneau said. “If we get overconfident, then it messes with our focus in the game.”
