There are many ways to use color in order to express your personality. WTV’s Melody Akbari takes a look at some individuals who have taken color to a whole other level.

Brown, black, blonde and red are pretty much the only options your hair color can be unless you choose to dye it. But instead of dying it one of the three other colors some individuals choose to go with colors that are normally found within rainbows.

It’s becoming more and more popular to dye hair bold, bright and expressive colors

“I like to color my hair because I think it’s a form of self expression,” junior Christi Lazutkin said. “It makes me like it sorta like tells what my personality is like it sorta tells what I’m about when I have my hair colored.”

While colored hair may not be part of the accepted dress code, school administrators take a lenient approach.

“Just like everything with dress code,” assistant principal Cindi Osborne said. “As long as students aren’t disrupting education environment with dress code or it’s something that’s not appropriate then we are fine to allow students to have colored hair and express their personalities”
