Parents and community members can gain insight into how Frisco ISD approaches health education at a meeting Monday from 5 to 6:30 p.m.The main goal of the school health advisory council is to ensure that local community values are represented in the fisd health education
The meeting will address the topics of physical education, nutrition, counseling, and the social and emotional climate on district’s campuses. Majority of the council’s members must be parents with students enrolled in the district. Additionally, the committee may include health care professionals, teachers, district administrators, or representatives of other groups.The committee has four annual meetings with the meeting taking place in the district’s administration training rooms.
