The softball team (5-1) continued their success over spring break, defeating Independence (2-4) 7-1 at The Nest March 14th and Memorial (3-3) 19-2 on the road March 17th.
The softball team (1-1) did not have what it took to win at Lebanon Trail (2-0), as they fell to the Blazers 11-1 Tuesday.
“With key players out, we’ve had to shift positions and make adjustments both defensively and offensively,” head coach Tiffany Thayer said. ‘We just weren’t able to overcome that.”
For senior Madison Terry, the reason for the loss is simple.
“We started off really slow compared to them,” Terry said. “We weren’t able to recover quickly, which was a big factor in the result of the game.”
