The wins just keep coming for the softball team (11-2), as Tuesday’s 3-0 home victory over Memorial (8-5) marked the Redhawk’s sixth consecutive win and fourth consecutive shutout.
The biggest takeaway was our mental resilience,” head coach Tiffany Thayer said. “This was our closest win of the season, and moving forward, we know every game will be tight. It was encouraging to see the girls stay locked in without relying on a comfortable lead. It confirmed what I already believed—we’re a focused, driven team, and I love that.”
It’s standing out on the scoreboard with the Redhawks outsourcing its last four opponents 44-0.
“I feel that we have grown a lot since pre-season to district play, and we still have a lot of work to put in for the rest of the season and the playoffs,” senior Delilah Bond said. “We are definitely coming together as a team.”
