Only two matches now stand between the volleyball team (29-4, 11-1) and the playoffs, with the Redhawks’ final road game of the regular season happening Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. as they travel to face Memorial (26-12, 9-3).
Having already beaten the Warriors twice this season, the team will be looking to pull a hat trick, but that is something head coach Eighmy Dobbins acknowledges will be challenging.
“Memorial is a good team and tough competition,” Dobbins said. “We will be focusing on serving tough and our blocking because we want to win and finish district super strong.”
Sophomore, defensive specialist, Audrey Swallow, said the team is preparing methodically for the challenge.
“We’re going to need to put up a big and consistent block and have shot selection that allows us to get around their defense,” Swallow said.
