The opening game in District 9-5A play didn’t go the way the Redhawks had hoped as they fell to Independence in 4 games. The Knights jumped out to a 2-0 lead, winning 25-16 and 25-23 before the Redhawks took game three 25-18. But that would be as close as the Redhawks would get as fell in game four 25-16.

Wingspan’s Alex Moore caught up with head volleyball coach Ui Womble to break down the game.
