For freshmen, it can be difficult going from the top of a school to being the new faces.

After three years in middle school and finally getting comfortable with that, some ninth graders are finding out it can take some time getting used to everything high school entails.

“It’s been hard to adjust especially because there’s so many people and so many new teachers and lots of assignments,” freshman Annie Hawkins said.

Sophomore Lauren Johnson had a difficult time adjusting last year, as did many others.

It took me kind of a while to get used to high school,” Johnson said. “But once I did it’s been a lot of fun and my friends helped out with transitioning from middle school to high school so it’s been good.”
