Wingspan: What school did you choose?

Buss: “I committed to Trinity University in San Antonio.”

Wingspan: Why did you choose this school?

Buss: “I don’t know, I just felt like it was a great opportunity. It’s a really good school; It’s small but they’re really great academically and my brother goes there so it’s not like I won’t know anybody.”

Wingspan: What are you expecting from being a college athlete?

Buss: “I think it’ll be difficult but I think I’ll manage to juggle the schedule pretty well, since it’s D3 it’s not as demanding athletically.”

Wingspan: How long did it take to make this decision?

Buss: “Like four months. I thought about it for a while before I decided.”

Wingspan: What other options were you contemplating?

Buss: “Not playing golf and going to OU. I thought it would be better for my career because when getting a job outside of college, you need something that puts you apart from everyone else. I thought golf would be that thing.”

Wingspan: How do you plan on utilizing the rest of the year to prepare for college?

Buss: “I guess just practicing golf a lot.”
