Genghis Grill hits the spot
As far as I can remember I don’t think I’ve ever tried Mongolian food and so for this week’s crusade I decided to go to Genghis Grill.
This was a buffet where you pick the size bowl you want and then select the toppings you want. Some of the stuff I picked were shrimp, bean sprouts, corn, bell peppers, and crab bites. And after that you pick whatever sauces you want. Once you get to the end of the line you pick what kind of base you want and I picked udon noodles. At the end of the line I give my plate to the cook and then went back to my seat and the meal was handed to me after it was ready.
When I got my food I got super excited. It was steaming and looked so delicious and then I took my first bite and it was just how I imagined it, warm and tasty.
I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant, I recommend everyone to go and try it but one piece of advice that I’ll give is maybe not try to go too far out of your comfort zone. When my dad was choosing the sauce and herbs he ended up putting too much and making it way too spicy and bitter. And because of that he had to get another one.
The food was good and the service was great so I’m definitely going to go back.
