Cafes during COVID-19: The Nest Cafe
The small, aesthetically pleasing, breakfast and coffee joint, The Nest Cafe, not only has good food but good social distancing measures as well.
Upon entering, the place felt very bright, and calm. The most noticeable thing was the number of people at 10 a.m. The restaurant was limited to only 20 guests at a time, with a max of five people per party. This made it easier for guests to be safely socially distanced. There was at least one table between us, and other guests at all times. The use of face masks was encouraged unless seated at your table, but they were unfortunately not required.
All employees (from what we could see) had face masks, and they were doing their best to sanitize everything after a customer was finished and left. They had great service, and everything was made and out extremely quickly.
With anything from power bowls, avocado toast, and omelets, to waffles and pancakes, The Nest Cafe offers a large variety. The large menu of mostly savory items offered numerous vegetarian options such as their yogurt and acai bowls, and all of their Nest Toast. Their omelets were amazing as well, and so was their coffee.
For anyone looking for some healthier, and cheaper, breakfast options The Nest Cafe is a good choice in these social distancing times.
