Crystal Meditation

Crystals are used for many purposes, however, I find that combining them with a simple meditation is the best way to get the most out of your crystals. I usually do this practice before going to bed. To begin, you will need to find a crystal that resonates with you. This is a crystal that draws your attention and is “calling” to you in a sense.

Before you start, you will need to cleanse your crystal. This can be done in many ways, including setting your crystal under running water or completely covering your crystal in salt. The next step is to ground yourself. This can be done my simply taking a couple deep breaths and ask your highest self to assist you. Then ask your crystals for permission to use their vibrations. Try connecting your breath and the vibrations of the crystals. This might seem difficult, but just allow the crystal to lead you and see where your combined energies take you.

If you feel your mind wander, just like in any meditation, acknowledge your intrusive thoughts and send them away gently. Set a timer for 5-20 minutes, place the crystal between your hands, on your forehead, or anywhere you want. If you feel uncomfortable with the crystal touching you at any time during the meditation process stop immediately. This should be a very calming and comforting experience.
