From virtually the hardest year to the easiest, the transition from juniors to seniors is often the most sought after.

In just days, juniors will be next on the graduation clock as they move their way up and get ready to take the place of the 2016 graduating seniors.

“Being a senior next year, it just makes me feel so happy that I’m going to be one year closer to being out of high school,” junior Zander Brown said. “I can have a whole lot more freedom and be an independent young man.”

Although there is still one more year of high school for juniors, most students believe senior year is a bit less stressful.

“One thing that I look forward to in being a senior next year is that I won’t have as much work,” Brown said. “I’ll have late arrival on both days and then it’s just baseball so I’ll only have 2 core classes every single day.”

Although some juniors look forward to a less demanding schedule, many are students simply looking forward to being done with high school.

“I feel really excited about being a senior next year because it’s just really exciting to be almost done with school,” junior Savannah Mauss said. “We’ve done this for 13 years.”

Junior year is often thought of as the most important in the college application process with grades being especially important.

“I think it’s going to be better because my junior year I was more stressed out because I was trying to bring up my GPA,” junior Alexis Evans said. “This year I did.”
