Parker, I think it would be great to discuss the commutation of Pfc. Bradley Manning’s 35 year sentence, and the revelations that landed Pfc. Manning in military prison in the first place. Also, you may like to discuss how Manning has been treated in prison, and how it may relate to Pfc. Manning’s suicide attempt. You may want to incorporate this into a broader discussion about United States foreign policy, especially regarding espionage, regime change, war crimes, and corruption. Surely, this is a heap of an issue to cover, but with doubt it would be a worthy addition to your series.
