Aviation classes coming to the CTE center
Starting in the 2017-2018 school year, Frisco ISD and Letourneau University will begin a partnership in which aviation classes will be offered to juniors and seniors at the CTE center.
The class is a dual credit program that offers students to gain college credits in aviation while also getting valuable experience in the aviation career path.
The class offered at the CTE center will include foundational concepts of aviation studies, powerplant systems for pilots, aircraft systems, and flight science, all of which are semester long courses.
Requirements include a 3.0 GPA, an application due by August 15th, and a $270 tuition payment per course due by September 18th.
