Board of Trustees expected to pick firm Monday

After reviewing applications from eight search firms, the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees narrowed its choices to four firms with the expectation it will choose one at Monday's regularly scheduled meeting. The search firm is anticipated to lead the way in finding candidates to replace the retiring Dr. Jeremy Lyon as superintendent.

After reviewing applications from eight search firms, the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees narrowed its choices to four firms with the expectation it will choose one at Monday’s regularly scheduled meeting. The search firm is anticipated to lead the way in finding candidates to replace the retiring Dr. Jeremy Lyon as superintendent.

The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees moved one step closer to finding a replacement for retiring superintendent Dr. Jeremy Lyon as it reviewed applications on Tuesday from eight different firms who were looking to help the district find its new superintendent.

By the end of Tuesday’s board meeting, the competition was narrowed down to four of the original eight firms. The four firms will make presentations on Monday from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the district administration building.

The search firm presentations will precede Monday’s regular board meeting at which the Board of Trustees is expected to select one of the four firms to help in the superintendent search process.
