Future college: Doesn’t know

Future job: Doesn’t know

Years Drawing: I’ve been just doing it for fun as long as I remember

Wingspan: What made you choose art?

Weidenbach: “I’m decent at it and it’s just fun to me.”

Wingspan: How does art affect your everyday life?

Weidenbach: “Art is a really good safe space for me where I can just go in and get out whatever I’m feeling rather than just hanging out.”

Wingspan: What is an artistic outlook on life?

Weidenbach: “Trying to think positively and thinking about how everyone’s actions are affecting everyone else and seeing how it all plays out and how you can represent that.”

Wingspan: Can you describe an experience where art has benefited you?

Weidenbach: “When I’m really stressed I’ll go in my little studio and doodle it out.”

Wingspan: Do you view art as a form of expressing yourself? How come?

Weidenbach: “I definitely think do think that art is a way to express one’s self because every piece of work that an artist creates is really gives the viewer a look into the artist’s perspective. Being able to relate my feelings into artwork is expressive.”

Wingspan: Are you considering this as a career? How do you plan on pursuing this?

Weidenbach: “I would definitely want to do something with art in my future. I just have to figure out what it is.”

Wingspan: How is your personality reflected in your work?

Weidenbach: “I do a lot of just spontaneous, random stuff whenever I make anything. This gives viewers a look into what I’m thinking.”

Wingspan: Do you find ways to display your work?

Weidenbach: “Art class is really cool because Mr. Rodriguez finds a lot of work we can do that can be put into competitions. But anything that I do, I usually do it for myself or for my house.”

Wingspan: When you are not painting or drawing what are you doing?

Weidenbach: “Sports. It’s pretty weird because it’s like being someone who’s very artistically involved and someone who athletic to mix those two together.”
